30 years of Radju Leħen il-Qala

Today, we proudly celebrate 30 years since the launch of Radju Leħen il-Qala—𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐳𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, a milestone that paved the way for community broadcasting on the island.

For three decades, RLQ has been a voice of faith, community and togetherness, bringing people closer through inspiring programmes, local news, music and countless memorable moments.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated volunteers, presenters, benefactors and loyal listeners. Your commitment and encouragement have made these 30 years possible.

The celebrations continue as we look forward to 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰’𝐬 𝑭𝒓. 𝑹𝒐𝒃 – 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒕, a special evening marking this remarkable anniversary. Join us in 𝐐𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝟖:𝟎𝟎𝐩𝐦 for an unforgettable celebration of faith, music and community, with 𝐉𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐡𝐚𝐧 & 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝 opening the evening before Fr. Rob Galea takes the stage.
