???????? Nhar il-Ħadd 26 ta’ Lulju 2026, il-Pjazza tal-Qala se tospita kunċert uniku minn Fr. Rob Galea, saċerdot, kantawtur u awtur Malti li llum huwa magħruf fuq livell internazzjonali għall-mużika u l-messaġġ ta’ tama li jwassal.
Imwieled Malta u llum ibbażat fl-Awstralja, Fr Rob għandu storja li tispira lil ħafna żgħażagħ. Meta kien żagħżugħ għadda minn żmien diffiċli mimli ribelljoni, droga, serq, depressjoni u ansjetà. Kien żmien meta ħassu mitluf u bla direzzjoni. Iżda l-laqgħa tiegħu ma’ Alla bidlet ħajtu kompletament. Illum, permezz tal-vokazzjoni tiegħu u tal-mużika, iwassal messaġġ ta’ fidi, tama u mħabba lil miljuni ta’ nies madwar id-dinja, b’mod partikolari liż-żgħażagħ.
Matul il-karriera tiegħu, Fr Rob ħareġ għaxar albums, rebaħ diversi premjijiet internazzjonali u kiteb numru ta’ kotba. Kien ukoll parteċipant fil-programm X Factor Australia, ipproduċa kanzunetti uffiċjali għall-Jum Dinji taż-Żgħażagħ u kanta quddiem udjenzi ta’ mijiet ta’ eluf ta’ persuni.
Għal din l-okkażjoni, Fr Rob se jiġi apposta mill-Awstralja biex iwassal il-messaġġ tiegħu f’Għawdex f’dan il-kunċert.
Is-serata tibda fit-8pm bil-prestazzjoni tal-kantanta Għawdxija Jolene Samhan, qabel jibda l-kunċert live ta’ Fr Rob Galea flimkien mal-band tiegħu.
Id-dħul għall-kunċert huwa kompletament bla ħlas u l-pubbliku kollu huwa mistieden jattendi.
Dan il-kunċert qed jiġi organizzat minn Radju Leħen il-Qala bħala parti miċ-ċelebrazzjonijiet tat-30 sena anniversarju mit-twaqqif tar-radju – l-ewwel stazzjon tar-radju komunitarju f’Għawdex li kiseb liċenzja permanenti.
???????? ???????? On Sunday, 26 July 2026, Qala Main Square will host a unique live concert by Fr Rob Galea – a Maltese priest, singer-songwriter, and author who has gained international recognition for his music and his inspiring message of hope.
Born in Malta and now based in Australia, Fr Rob has a life story that continues to inspire thousands of young people around the world. As a teenager, he went through a difficult period marked by rebellion, drug abuse, theft, depression, and anxiety. Feeling lost and without direction, his life was completely transformed after encountering God. Today, through his priesthood and music, he shares a message of faith, hope, and love with millions of people worldwide, especially young people.
Throughout his career, Fr Rob has released ten albums, received several international awards, and authored a number of books. He also appeared on The X Factor Australia, produced official songs for World Youth Day, and has performed before audiences of hundreds of thousands of people.
For this special occasion, Fr Rob will travel from Australia to Gozo to share his music and message in this one-of-a-kind concert.
The evening will begin at 8:00 PM with a performance by Gozitan singer Jolene Samhan, followed by Fr Rob Galea performing live with his band.
Admission is completely free, and everyone is warmly invited to attend.
This concert is being organised by Radju Leħen il-Qala as part of the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the radio station’s founding—the first community radio station in Gozo to be granted a permanent broadcasting licence.
